It’s amazing what can happen to our body, our mental state, or our spirit when we don’t take proper care of ourselves. In this fast paced world, we don’t take time out just for us often enough, we don’t stop to smell the roses, and we often drive ourselves too hard for work, family, and friends.
This is just your friendly reminder that every so often, you should take a time out. Start your mornings right — wake up about 10 minutes earlier than you normally do and make sure to find yourself a quiet area away from anyone else who may be awake. Then quiet your mind, think about what you are grateful for in your life, then think about the amazing miracles you will experience throughout the day.
During this morning respite, you can even weave an affirmation into it.
As I start this day, I allow my mind, my body, and my soul to relax and heal. As I move throughout this day, I draw in healing white light and with each passing moment, I grow stronger and healthier. I am the embodiment of health and beauty.
