Weight Loss Affirmation

Continuing the new year resolution affirmation series, we move into the third resolution.

Each year we put on weight. A little here, a little here, and by the end of the year we are so remorseful that we resolve ourselves to shed those extra pounds.

Resolution 3: lose weight.

When you want to lose weight, it’s always a good idea to think it through completely. Describe how much weight you want to lose and why. What will you gain from it? A better self image, nicer body, be physically fit?

Once you know how much and why, start developing your affirmation as though you have already achieved your goal.

Weight loss affirmation: I choose what I eat wisely and I listen to my body. I am my ideal weight and I am in good health. I look amazing!

Affirmation For Becoming Physically Fit and Healthy

This is the second in the new year affirmation series.

Resolution 2: Become physically fit.

Sometimes losing weight just isn’t enough, or maybe you’re already slim. In any event, it’s the new year and you want to become fit as a fiddle.

Where to start? Where to go? Well, start with an affirmation to get the ball rolling.

Affirmation: I am a healthy and physically fit being. I listen carefully to my body and I am mindful of what I put into it.

As always, modify the affirmation to make it your own. Use words that convey strong meanings to you, and don’t be afraid to test it.

More Time With Friends And Family

This is the first affirmation in the series of affirmations for the 10 ten new year resolutions.

Resolution 1: spend more quality time with family.

I think this is something so many people strive for, but fear there isn’t enough time to do it all - work, support the family, rest, so forth.

We understand that life is short and if we are not careful, the most precious moments will slip by silently and before we know it, our hearts are filled with regrets.

That doesn’t have to happen. You can balance your time and energy and enjoy those precious moments of your life.

A simple affirmation to get you started: I spend amazing quality time with my loved ones everyday.

Remember, affirmations are personal, so feel free to alter the affirmation to suit your personal goals. Remember, keep it present tense (i.e. try not to use “I will…” or “I am going to…”) and keep it positive (avoid words like “not”, “don’t”, etc.).
