How do you normally feel when you wake up in the morning? Groggy? Lethargic? Mad at the world? If you look at the upcoming day with disdain, chances are you will not experience the best possible opportunities and will probably miss out on a lot of chances to better your life.
So, instead of waking up with one foot dangling off the wrong side of the bed, ensure that you hop up on the right side by saying a short affirmation before you find yourself dozing off into dreamland.
Tomorrow will be a beautiful new day filled with amazing opportunities. As I sleep, my body, my mind, and my soul rejuvenates and prepares for this bright new day. So, when I awake in the morning, I will be refreshed and open to enjoying all of the amazing adventures that await me.
The idea is to say this affirmation at least three times before you actually go to sleep so that it can be properly absorbed by your mind. Of course, it would probably be better if you could squeeze it in a few more times, too. :)
